I'm a childfree by choice 30-something female living in the Northeastern/slightly Midwestern part of the US. I'm happily married (my husband and I are DINKS - Dual Income, No Kids), am owned by a cat, and have various interests and hobbies. I've started this blog for the purpose of tracking my workouts, recipes, travels, work experiences, and thoughts about life (including the childfree aspect).

Food and Workout Journal for March 4, 2008
Ummmm....not so good today!
6:20 a.m. 1/2 bagel w/whipped cream cheese, 1/2 orange, 1/2 banana, small glass OJ
9:30 a.m. 1 chocolate covered donut, 1/2 glazed donut (and they weren't even good. They were Entemann's...why bother?)
3:15 p.m. Wendy's w/DH (on our way to the second funeral): Spicy Chicken sandwich w/mayo, small fries, water
5:30 p.m. Three (yes, three!) homemade chocolate chip cookies, small glass 2% mil
Even though today's eating would have been considered a big, fat NO-NO, I can almost guarantee that I went through way more calories on an average day before I started blogging. Those were "mindless" eating days.

The thing is, you NEED a day like this every so often. To many super-controlled days without a break spells long-term disaster. And you're right - you're probably eating less regardless since you are journalling.
