Well, I weighed myself today (March 1st), and I lost a total of 2.5 pounds since February 1st. Not exactly amazing progress, but I guess it's still going in the right direction. I can't say I wasn't a little disappointed, but I know my eating is definitely in need of improvement. There's way too many days I'm eating French fries!
When you add that on to January's results, it is a total loss of 8 pounds since the beginning of the year.

It's PROGRESS and that's what matters. If you continue even at the rate you are going, you will be 16 pounds lighter by the end of the year. That might not sound like a lot, but it's better than gaining weight or remaining the same! And you're eating out a lot and eating lots of good stuff, so you're making this progress and while not being deprived!
