Food and Workout Journal for February 2, 2008

9:00 a.m.: Bowl of CoCo Wheats w/raw sugar to sweeten, 1 piece toast w/peanut butter, 1/2 orange, small glass OJ

MAJOR SPLURGE: DH and I have a Mardi Gras party to go to tonight. I always make something to take with me to parties. Today I made my Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies, which are ridiculously good. I knew I would indulge somewhat...and I did. I had some cookie dough batter (probably two cookie's worth, although it's hard to tell), and then I had three cookies throughout the afternoon.

WORKOUT: The FIRM Hare Workout. Really enjoyed doing this workout again. I thought it might be a little too advanced for me, but I used light weights and a short step and was fine. I feel worked out but not beat. (Used a 4" step for ballroom aerobic sections, 12" for tall box, 3 lb. weights for aerobic sections, 4 lb, for triceps section, no ankle weights, 6 lb. weights for bridgework and inner thigh.)

Mardi Gras Party: Two medium glasses regular Ginger Ale, 2 ham and cheese wrap appetizers, 1 "rice ball" appetizer, 1 little chocolate square, few sips of champagne

Oooooh.....ultimate chocolate chip cookies. I commend you for eating as few as you did! Those things are deadly!!!
