Breakfast - small bowl of CoCo wheats, 1 mini bagel w/whipped cream cheese, small glass juice

Afternoon - 2 snickerdoodle cookies, few peanuts

Late afternoon - 2 Dove chocolate caramels

6:15 p.m. 2 snickerdoodles

6:30 p.m. Went to Al and Linda's party - didn't track food, but I didn't eat all that much

6:20 a.m. 1 mini bagel w/whipped cream cheese, 1 small container strawberry yogurt, small glass OJ

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 2+ styrofoam cups full of Chex Mix, diet coke

1:00 p.m. 1 large chocolate chip cookie (not one of my own....Michelle bought it for me)

6:00 p.m. Turkey and cheese w/mustard on wheat bread, baked BBQ chips, organic salad w/little bit of shredded cheese and lite honey mustard dressing, 2 chocolate chip cookies, 1 suck candy

WORKOUT: Slim in 6 Ramp it Up (45 minutes)

Food and Workout Journal for May 5, 2008

6:20 a.m. 1 cup Fruity Cheerios with 1/2 c. 2% milk, 1 mini bagel w/whipped cream cheese, small glass juice

10:15 a.m. 1 FiberOne bar

12:00 p.m. 3/4's of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on sourdough bread, 17 mini pretzels, 2 chocolate chip cookies, diet coke

5:15 p.m. 1 chocolate chip cookie

6:00 p.m. 2 small breaded baked chicken strips, small handful baked organic French "fries", 2 more chocolate chip cookies (Whoops!), 1 suck candy

Okay, these cookies are getting the better of me!

WORKOUT: Slim in 6 Keep It Up! plus Slim-N-Six Pack Abs (total around 1 hour)

Food and Workout Journal for April 17,2008















Got up about 10 minutes late today (5:00 a.m.), so I opted for a 45-minute workout instead of an hour long one. Still and a good workout and I'm done for the day!

6:20 a.m. 1 cup Organic Raisin Bran with 1/2 c. 2% milk, 1 mini bagel w/whipped cream cheese, small glass OJ

10:00 a.m. 1 small piece crumb cake (w/Kathy)

12:30 p.m. Ate the other 1/2 of my sandwich from Panera (Turkey Bacon Bravo), 17 mini pretzels, 2 mint Oreo-style cookies, diet coke

6:30 p.m. Boston Market w/DH: 1/4 chicken (white meat), stuffing, cole slaw, few bites of DH's sweet potato casserole, water

7:45 p.m. 1 fudge brownie, small glass 2% milk


WORKOUT:
Morning - Slim in 6 Ramp it Up w/Debbie Seibers (45 min.)
Evening - Walk on neighborhood bike trail to/from Boston Market (1 hour, 10 minutes - 8,800 steps)

Mid-morning snack w/Kathy: 2 small M&M cookies

12:30 p.m. Some kind of turkey wrap from Gardenia (turkey, cheese, peppers, onions or tortilla), few regular chips, diet pepsi

5:30 p.m. 2 more (small) M&M cookies

7:30 p.m. 1 mini bagel w/whipped cream cheese, small glass vitamin water (1/2 serving), 3 Dove chocolates

12:15 p.m. Gardenia w/Rick & 2 MDG clients: Chicken fajita wrap (grilled chicken, rice, peppers, onions, cheese, salsa, sour cream), just a few potato chips, diet coke

1:30 p.m. 4 suck candies

7:00 p.m. 7 "Ritz"-style crackers w/tiny bit of peanut butter, 4 Dove chocolate egg candies

Food and Workout Journal for March 9, 2008

10:00 a.m. Bowl of CoCo Wheats w/ raw sugar to sweeten, 1 mini bagel w/little bit of peanut butter, 1/2 orange, small glass OJ

1:30 p.m. 2 pieces Marco's pepperoni pizza w/ little bit of garlic butter, 1/2 can regular coke

2:15 p.m. 2 Dove chocolates

5:15 p.m. 2 more Dove chocolates

7:00 p.m. 2 more pieces Marco's pepperoni pizza, 3 homemade chocolate chip cookies (I tried to limit it to two, but they are just so darned good!)

WORKOUT: Slim in 6 Ramp it Up - Today was supposed to be my rest day, but I felt like working out and figured I might not want to do it tomorrow night after class since I don't get home until 8:30. If I feel like it, though, I'll do 1/2 hour cardio workout.

Food and Workout Journal for February 12, 2008

I was at a training class pretty much all day off-site (and will be for the rest of the week). I'm learning a communications tool called "Crucial Conversations." This is fascinating stuff and I love learning about subjects like this. The class is for two days, and then there's a two-day "train the trainer" class, which I'm also taking. They are bringing the food in.

8:00 a.m. Continental breakfast at training class: small bagel w/cream cheese, 1 orange, water

10:00 a.m. 1 butterscotch suck candy

12:00 p.m. Ham, cheese, and mayo sandwich on white bread, tiny bit of pasta salad, 1 chocolate cookie, diet coke

3:15 p.m. 1 small chocolate brownie square

4:45 p.m. 1 small Buffalo chicken nugget

6:15 p.m. 1 mini wheat bagel (these are addicting! But they are only 100 calories)....w/whipped cream cheese, 20 whole cashews (about 1/4 cup), 3 mini York Peppermint Patties

WORKOUT: Slim in 6 Burn it Up! Man, this workout gets TOUGH. I did really pretty well. I've always had problems with the floorwork on this one, and tonight was no exception. Still, I got through 75% of the floorwork and all of the rest of the workout. I never do the yoga at the end as it's just soooo boring. It's only 4 minutes, though.

6:30 a.m.: Bowl of CoCo Wheats w/raw sugar to sweeten, 1/2 of a mini bagel w/peanut butter, 1/2 orange, small glass OJ

10:00 a.m. Store-bought chocolate chip cookie (from Kathy)

12:45 p.m. Grilled chicken, cheddar, 2 strips bacon, and little bit of mayo on sesame seed bun (probably ate 3/4's of the sandwich), French fries (broke my goal of only having French fries once a week....ate about 3/4's), diet coke

6:15 p.m.
Small bowl of organic vegetable barley soup w/3 crackers, 1/2 mini bagel w/peanut butter, 1 small chocolate chip cookie, water

WORKOUT: Slim in 6 Ramp it Up (minus the 4 minutes of yoga at the end)

Food and Workout Journal for January 24, 2008

6:20 a.m.: 1 cup OHs! Honey Graham cereal with 1/2 c. skim milk, small glass OJ

12:30 p.m.: Lunch from Tomaydo Tomahhdo with Kathy: Grilled chicken, bacon, cheese, sauce, onion sandwich on foccocia bread (ate a little over 1/2 of it), 1/2 bag of kettle chips, few sips of strawberry-banana smoothie, diet coke

6:00 p.m.: Dinner w/DH: 2 baked chicken tenders (one large, 1 tiny), 1 mozzarella stick, handful of organic baked French "fries," mixed vegetables (carrots, bean variety), 3 mini Peppermint Patties, water

WORKOUT: Slim in 6 Ramp it Up! (minus the yoga at the end) - I bought this video for $3 + shipping off of a seller on Amazon. I love it. It's just perfect for where I am fitness-wise right now.

Food and Workout Journal for January 17, 2008

6:20 a.m.: 2/3 c. Organic cinnamon granola cereal with 1/2 c. 2% milk, small glass juice, 1/2 banana
9:45 a.m.: 4 donut holes (Entenmann's)

12:00 p.m.: 3 pieces (on the large side) of pepperoni pizza from Rascal House; Diet Coke (definitely did not need the third piece, but it was so good!)

6:00 p.m. Ham, cheese, and mustard on wheat bun, 8 honey-wheat pretzels, 2 Nature's Way mint Oreo-style cookies, water

WORKOUT: Slim in 6 Ramp It Up! (didn't do the yoga stuff at the end)

Not the best day diet-wise, but I was aware of everything I was eating (and enjoyed it!). I was not even going to eat dinner after that lunch, but I really was pretty hungry when I got home.
