Tonight I did Cathe's Basic Step on a 6" step. It's only 1/2 hour, but I always get a nice workout with this one.

6:20 a.m. 1 cup Fruity Cheerios with 1/2 c. 2% milk, small glass OJ

12:30 p.m. McDonald's w/Kathy: Big Mac, medium fries, regular coke (they were out of diet...not that it mattered after the Big Mac!)

5:30 p.m. 3 Dove chocolate caramels, 2 pizzelles

8:00 p.m. Chunk of milk chocolate

WORKOUT: Cathe Basic Step on 6" step (30 min.)

6:20 a.m. 5 Frosted Mini Wheat biscuits, 1/2 banana, small glass juice

12:00 p.m. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, 17 mini pretzels, 2 mint "oreo-style" cookies, diet coke

5:15 p.m. Chipotle w/DH: 1/2 chicken fajita burrito (chicken, rice, peppers, onions, salsa, lettuce, sour cream, shredded cheese on tortilla), water

8:15 p.m. 2 Ghiardelli chocolate squares

Food and Workout Journal for March 3, 2008


6:20 a.m. 3/4 c. Total Honey Clusters cereal with 1/2 c. 2% milk, 1/2 banana, 1/2 bagel w/whipped cream cheese, small glass juice

12:00 p.m. Ham, cheese, and mustard on bun, 15 thin organic pretzels, 2 homemade chocolate chip cookies, diet coke

5:15 p.m. Quizno's w/DH: Small (6") Baja Chicken sub on white bread, split a serving of chips w/DH, but I think I ate 3/4's of the bag), 1/2 bottle (1 serving) vitamin water

10:00 p.m. 1 homemade chocolate chip cookie

WORKOUT: Cathe Basic Step on 6" step - I think this workout is going to get a lot of use since I don't get home until after 8:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays (usually) because of the study groups. It's nice because it's only 1/2 hour, but it does give you a very decent workout.

8:00 a.m. About 3/4's a very large sesame seed bagel w/cream cheese, small glass lowfat chocolate milk

12:15 p.m. Scorcher's w/Susan: Fried fish sandwich w/cheese and tartar sauce, French fries (about 1/2), diet coke

1:30 p.m. 2 mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

6:00 p.m. 1 cup OHs! Cereal w/ 1/2 c. 2% milk, 2 mint-chocolate covered Oreos
