Happy Easter! DH and I actually had a very quiet Easter as it was kind of pre-empted by my FIL's surgery. FIL had a cancerous lump in his arm that got removed yesterday (Saturday), so he's in the hospital recovering until Tuesday. So obviously, there was no big family get-together at DH's parent's house. The great news is that his dad is doing fine, and the doctors believe they were able to get all of the cancer. We will be visiting all of them next weekend, as well as my family.9:00 a.m. Small bowl of oatmeal w/brown sugar, 1/2 banana, small glass juice
1:30 p.m. Champp's w/DH - we both got the Easter Buffet. Although it sounds like a lot to eat, my portions were really pretty small:
- Salad w/little bit of ranch dressing and shredded cheese and bacon pieces
- 2 very tiny mini bagels w/cream cheese
- pasta salad
- 1 slice ham
- Ambrosia salad
- 1 "French toast" sticks
- 1 piece bacon
- 1 tiny piece of chocolate cake w/chocolate icing
- 2 chocolate-dipped strawberries
8:30 a.m. 1 serving (17 pieces) mini pretzels, water
WORKOUT: Crunch Burn and Firm Pilates w/Ellen Barrett (Wow....I had a really good workout! This one always surprises me.)
